From vibrant attractions, Cannes offers plenty that will captivate even the most jaded traveller. Take a stroll through Le Suquet, one of Cannes’ oldest neighbourhoods – an enchanting array of winding streets lined with colourful buildings. Here you can explore some of the city’s most noteworthy sights including the majestic Notre-Dame de l’Espérance Church and the iconic castle La Castre.

Satiate your sense of adventure by taking a boat tour along the coastline. Glide past luxury yachts as you admire striking views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you’re lucky, you may spot playful dolphins dancing in the waves alongside your vessel! 

Dine out at one of Cannes’ famous restaurants and enjoy exquisite regional dishes such as socca (a savory chickpea pancake) and salade niçoise (a hearty salad with tuna). And be sure to wash it all down with some local rosé wine! 

Cannes also has a vibrant nightlife scene, with some of Europe’s best clubs and bars.

Nice

Nice has plenty of museums and art galleries where you can spend hours admiring beautiful pieces of art. You can also explore different markets where you can find anything from fresh produce to general home goods. 

Get lost amidst the romantic atmosphere and bask in panoramic vistas of the Bay of Angels. Make sure to stay until dusk so you can watch the beguiling sunset from this magical setting. The area around this bay is also known as ‘Promenade du Paillon’ or ‘Promenade du Jardin Albert 1er’ because of all its trees and flower beds that line up along it.

The old town centre is full of narrow streets and pastel-colored houses, from which you can enjoy a stunning view over the Mediterranean Sea. If you want to get to know the city better, take a walk along the Promenade des Anglais and enjoy the sunsets with a drink at one of the many terraces along the beachfront.

Castle Hill is located at the top of a hill overlooking the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). This hill offers spectacular views of both the city of Nice and the Mediterranean Sea. There are several things to do here including hiking trails and several restaurants where you can enjoy lunch or dinner while taking in these amazing views. It’s also home to Cascade du Casteu which is an artificial waterfall located on top of Castle Hill.

Nice has plenty of museums including the Matisse Museum which houses works by Henri Matisse as well as other artists such as Picasso. The Modern and Contemporary Art Museum (MAMAC) hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary art by both local and international artists. For those who enjoy nature there’s plenty of parks including Jardin Albert 1er which contains woodland paths and ponds.

If you’re seeking for something active there are plenty of activities on offer like boat trips on the coast or up into the mountains, swimming at beaches or in one of Nice’s many pools or simply relaxing on a yacht cruising around.

Located right in the centre of town, Cathedral of Saint Nicholas is a grandiose Russian Orthodox cathedral. The interior of this Cathedral is quite impressive with beautiful stained glass windows and high ceilings. With its beautiful onion domes and intricate carvings, it looks like a piece of Russia landed in Nice.

Monaco

Monaco is a small city that’s known for being home to royalty like Princess Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III who lived there until his death in 2005. It’s also home to some luxurious hotels where celebrities often stay while visiting this area of France. Visitors can also explore exotic gardens such as Princess Grace Japanese Garden and Exotic Garden of Monaco.

Monaco has a lot to offer from art galleries and museums to shopping malls and restaurants. Tourists can also enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, sailing and more.
